Why the stereotyping?
Throughout my searches of this site, I have come across
one starling and disappointing fact. I am exactly what
a lot of people are looking for, and while that is indeed
A fact, that is not THE fact. What I am refering to is the big
red X that comes up against me because of my age. I am 19. But
I guarentee you that I have been around the block as much
as people twice my age. We live in an age in which sex is acessable
and safe enough for younger and younger folks to get involved,
and while that can be a problem when the folks get TOO young,
it has had the added effect of making these archaic notions
of the young pup looking to be initiated to adulthood obsolete.
Many folks my age, men and women, are coming to this with
enough experiance to know what is what and what to do with
it, and I have found that those who do not are honest about
it. When you saw that I was 19 you just deleted my email without
a look. You wouldn't know what kind of experiance I
have. You wouldn't know I am a great guy to know. Simply
because you didn't take the time to know me. You owe
it to yourself to clear your slate of the stereotypes and
invest a little time in exploring what is out there, both
young and old. It takes a small amount of time to get to know
someone a little bit and figure out if they are full of hot
air, or if you want them filling you. You may be surprised
how often it is the latter.
