Of course misspelled words are not an indication of the
lack of intelligence; it could simply be a case of slipped
fingers! I am neither the best typist nor the best speller,
but I decided that the suggestion to use a text editor and
then cut and paste was a good idea.
So, spelling aside whats the deal with abbreviated words?
When I receive an email in response to my ad and the sender
refers to me as u or ur or any of the other word short cuts
I get a trifle miffed! Most often its a one liner, which
I hate and then I need a translator to figure out what they
are trying to say! I know they dont mean to insult, but it
is an insult to my intelligence and its an indication of
the import they have attached to communicating with me.
It is also my first impression of them and it speaks to laziness!
I realize Im old school and I believe in first impressions.
I KNOW this is a sex site and Im looking for sex. But for THIS
woman the attraction begins with the first contact and
within the biggest sex organ I have.my brain!
So, guys a tip, if you are responding to an older woman consider
that she may have been brought up in an era where writing
REAL letters, you know the ones where a stamp was required,
was the norm and she probably was taught, in school the proper
way to write a letter and she just may read your email and
see what you dont want her to see!
